Why a price guide that also sells websites
Because the price question is the first one everyone asks, and the one most of the industry avoids answering. We would rather you see the whole market, including the routes that cost less than us, and choose with your eyes open.
- Third-party prices come from the companies themselves or from named published sources, with the date we checked them.
- Our own prices sit on the same pages, in full, with nothing added at checkout.
- Where a free or cheap builder is the right answer for you, the guides say so plainly.
- There are no affiliate links on this site. Nobody pays us to rank them.

Questions people ask
How much does a website cost for a small business in the UK?
It depends on who builds it. Doing it yourself on Wix or Squarespace costs roughly £9 to £17 a month on annual billing, plus your time. Published UK prices for a freelancer run from about £500 to £3,000, and small or medium agencies from about £2,000 to £10,000. Our fixed price starts at £449 setup and £39 a month, with hosting, updates and edits included. The full guide has the sources.
Why are your prices lower than most agencies?
We build on a shared, fast setup rather than starting every site from scratch, we use AI tools to speed up the build, and the monthly fee covers hosting and looking after the site. That is how a five-page site can start at £449. The trade-off is that you ask us to make changes rather than editing it yourself.
Do you only build websites for one industry?
No. We build for trades, restaurants, law firms, builders, shops, coaches, charities and anyone else who needs customers to find them, trust them and get in touch.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contract. The monthly fee is a subscription. If you leave, we help you move your site and domain elsewhere.
Want a fixed price instead of a range?
Tell us what your business does and what the site needs to do. We'll come back with the tier that fits and the exact price, including when the answer is the cheapest one.
