Whether you are on your own or employ twenty people, the website has the same jobs: show up when someone searches, make them trust you, and make it easy to get in touch. We write it, build it and look after it, at fixed prices published on this page.

What a small business website needs
Get found. Show up on Google and Google Maps when someone nearby searches for what you do.
Answer the obvious questions. What you do, where, roughly what it costs, and when you are available.
Build trust quickly. Reviews, real photos, accreditations, and a name and face behind the business.
Make contact effortless. Click-to-call on mobile, a short form, or a booking link that works.
Stay correct. Hours, prices and services that are up to date, because an out-of-date site loses work quietly.
A site that does those five things beats a beautiful one that does not. Most of the work is in the writing and the structure, not the decoration.
What we do, start to finish
Write the pages with you, from a short questionnaire and a call.
Register or move your domain, and keep it in your name.
Design and build the site to load fast on a phone.
Set up your Google Business Profile, and your booking or enquiry system.
Host it, secure it, update it, and make your edits.

Doing it yourself instead
If your budget is tight and you enjoy this kind of thing, a builder like Wix or Squarespace is a perfectly sensible start, at roughly £9 to £17 a month on annual billing. The catch is time, and the parts that win customers: the writing, local search and keeping it current. Our builder guide covers when DIY is the right call.
Published UK prices for a five-page small business site run from a few hundred pounds to about £5,000, depending on who builds it. Ours starts at £449 setup and £39 a month, including hosting and edits. See the full cost guide.
How many pages does a small business website need?
Enough to give each main service its own page. A business with three services and one area can do well with five pages. A business with ten services needs more, because one page cannot rank for ten different searches.
Do I need a website if I have a Facebook page?
A Facebook page helps, but you do not control it, it ranks poorly for most local searches, and some customers do not use Facebook. A website is the one place you own.
Can you help with Google Maps?
Yes. Setting up and verifying your Google Business Profile is included in every package, and Grow adds the wider local search groundwork.
Tell us what your business does and what the site needs to do. We'll come back with the tier that fits and the exact price, including when the answer is the cheapest one.
